TOSL acquires ANSA Technologies

TOSL Engineering Limited (TOSL), a leading integrated services company headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago, is pleased to announce its acquisition of ANSA Technologies Limited, a well-established provider of electrical, instrumentation, and automation solutions.

On April 2nd, 2025, Ricardo Mahadeo, Managing Director of TOSL Engineering Limited (right) and Christian Llanos, Construction Sector Head at ANSA McAL (left), ocially signed the agreement for the Acquistion of ANSA Technologies Limited.

This strategic acquisition marks a major milestone in TOSL’s growth journey, significantly expanding its capabilities and reinforcing its long-standing commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and customer success.

The union of TOSL and ANSA Technologies brings together complementary strengths to create a powerhouse in the Energy Services Sector, equipped to deliver end-to-end solutions across Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean region.

Through this acquisition, TOSL significantly enhances its service capabilities by incorporating ANSA Technologies’ specialized expertise and advanced technologies across key industries. The deal also extends TOSL’s market reach, leveraging ANSA Technologies’ established regional footprint to better serve a broader client base. In addition, the combined technical depth and collaborative culture of both organizations are expected to accelerate innovation, driving the development of next-generation, customer-focused solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the sector.

ANSA Technologies BARBEE Valve Testing

AT Staff at BARBEE Training

In the month of November 2017, ANSA Technologies Limited provided training on the BARBEE Valve Testing System, which is a recent addition our line of services. This training was a hands on experience in which our customers and employees benefited from. Twenty-four of our employees participated in the training.  Thirteen of which received certificates with the designation Certified Operator-Technician while eleven participants received certificates with the designation Certified Operator & Trainer.

The trainer, Ron Gearhart of BARBEE Engineered Testing Systems, covered theory, hands-on training, troubleshooting and maintenance of the BARBEE Hydrostatic Test Stand, Model # – TF-150T-DAQ. This machine is designed to perform hydrostatic and pneumatic shell / seat testing on flanged valves from 1” to 16”, ANSI Class rating 150# to 2500# on the test fixture, and can also be modified to test larger sized valves.

It is housed in a state of the art, 20ft mobile container with accessories and is partitioned with the control panel / office on one side and the pressurized clamping mechanism on the other. At ANSA Technologies our we aim is to provide these services at our customer’s location- onshore, offshore and even regionally.
